Tiffany Brien’s passion for wellness, and dedication to a holistic health path has inspired both her academic and professional life.
Tiffany Brien received her Diploma in Acupuncture (Honours & Outstanding Student Award) through Eastern College in 2009, after studying at Memorial University. Tiffany was certified by the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (CMAANL), through an intensive national-level examination, administered by the Alberta Chinese Medicine Association. She is registered in Newfoundland and Labrador via the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Practitioners (NLCHP) as well she is a member of the Aliane of Professional Nathuropaths and Naturoptherapist (APNN). Tiffany’s studies included such specialties as Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Theory, TCM Nutrition, Qi Gong, moxibustion, cupping, Tui Na Message, Gu Sha, Fertility Acupuncture, (Plum Blossom) Microneedling, Red Light Therapy and Electro-Acupuncture.
In practice since 2009, Tiffany has concentrated in women’s health, in particular infertility. She did a complete course in infertility and acupuncture with world renown Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor Jane Littleton, attended the Integrative Fertility Symposium in British Columbia many times, completed a course in mastering Basal Body Temperature with TCM plus and a mentorship program in Integrative Fertility and Reproductive Medicine with Laura Erlich R Ac, FABORM via Healthy Seminars. Fertility and women’s health issues are really her passion. Outside of fertility she has completed a certificate training with Shali Rassoulo (Toronto) specializing in cosmetic acupuncture, is recently certified in Microneedling for Acupuncturist and Red Light Therapy. She has also completed courses in nutrition, pain, digestion and mental health to name a few.
Tiffany spent 10 years practicing in a holistic health clinic alongside well known Doctor of Medical Helkunst Molly Graham. It was there that her knowledge and passion of integrative holistic health grew. Throughout those years she was also practicing out of a Western Medical Clinic with Dr. Peter Seviour which brought her knowledge of the effectiveness of Acupuncture with western medical treatment was obtained. These yin and yang of practices helped make Tiffany more of a well-rounded practitioner understanding the advantages of TCM acupuncture with eastern and western modalities. Tiffany has worked out of many different multidisciplinary clinics as well use to fly back and forth to Labrador to provide TCM Acupuncture services in Lab. City.
Today Tiffany works out of Modern Wellness Co in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador. She continues to fuel her passion of TCM acupuncture.
